We are excited that you landed on our website. Debby and I will have the following question asked to us in various forms, but the jest of the question is “where or how did you come up with the name love ‘em up”? So take a peek below and this will give you a glimpse. Have fun cruising around the site, we pray that after you look around you will take that next step and call!
There is this scene in John that Debby and I just love. Jesus is preparing Himself to wash the disciples feet (John 13). When Jesus comes to Peter and Peter is pulling away, Jesus told him “You don’t understand now what I am doing, but someday you will.” (John 13:7 NLT). Peter says no at first, then relents and desires to have his entire body cleansed, and Jesus again teaches the true meaning of this act. Well as Paul Harvey states you may know “the rest of the story” Jesus predicts his betrayal, the bread from Judas is dipped in the cup, Judas heads out into the night to gather up the mob that would soon escort Jesus back into town to fulfill the will of God.
But before Jesus and the disciples minus one leave and before Jesus predicts that Peter will deny Him three times. Jesus gives us a new commandment v34 So now I am giving you a new commandment: Love each other. Just as I have loved you, you should love each other. v35 Your love for one another will prove to the world that you are my disciples.
Jesus said to love ‘em up!
That is our passion to help people discover the love of Christ in their life. to help people be exactly who God designed them to be and to help engage folks in meaningful relationships with like minded believers.
